These MOUs were signed between Shahid Beheshti University and Al-Zahra Universities of Iraq, Baghdad, Al-Asra, Al-Farahidi, Al-Iraqiyya, Babol, Maysan, Al-Ain, Al-Technology and Diyala.

Professor and researcher exchange, holding meetings, seminars and scientific meetings, holding specialized webinars, exchanging scientific and educational articles, developing joint research programs and projects, accepting students, joint cooperation for future investments, exchange of publications, financial exploitation of the results of research projects, collaborations Scientific cooperation between national and international centers affiliated to both universities was one of the most important areas agreed upon in the aforementioned memorandums.

It should be noted that the science week event of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq was hosted by Ferdowsi University of Mashhad from October 15 to 20 with the participation of more than 60 universities from Iran and Iraq. This event was held following the cultural consultation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Iraq and the coordination of the Iranian ministries of science and Iraqi higher education.

The main points of this scientific event, which was held with the presence of Dr. Seyed Mahmoudreza Aghamiri, President of Shahid Beheshti University, and Dr. Jamila Alam El Hadi, Head of the Research Institute for Fundamental Studies of Science and Technology, are academic interactions and communication, international cultural exchanges, and the development of diplomacy between the two countries. .

Solving the common problem of Iran and Iraq regarding “water” and “fine particles” by the scientific community of these two countries and paying attention to renewable energy were the most important topics raised in the science week event of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq.
